This will be a FREE 60-minute lecture focusing on tick ID, testing, diagnosis and treatment.  Preserved tick samples will be shown, in various levels of engorgement and life cycles. We will discuss the complexities of testing (ELISA and Western blot), and how to de-mystify western blot testing.  Prevention and treatment options will be explained, including pharmaceuticals and natural medicines.
